Two Year Olds Fillies

A full field of twelve two year old fillies have been entered up for this years running of the grade one Natalma here at Woodbine and they will all be going for a free spot in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. Let’s take a look at the field.

1. Scent Of A Filly (3-2-0-1 $78.430), trained by Mo Mentum Farm

Here is the first filly in the field and she is coming into this race off of a win in the La Senorita at Retama where she went wire to wire. Both of her wins were wire to wire but that is going to be very tough to do in here. She has a chance to win though I think.

2. Forty Chai (4-1-2-1 $78.200), trained by Estero Farms

Another one coming out of the La Senorita at Retama and this filly ran third in that race behind the horse to her inside. She did not run bad in there but she is definitely going to have to step it up if she is going to have a chance in here.

3. All Inclusive (3-2-1-0 $43.800), trained by Mb Stables

The first of three for Mb Stables and this filly is coming into this race off of a very dominating win in a first level allowance race at Monmouth where she crushed the field by six lengths. She ran a huge race in there and a performance like that will be tough to beat in here.

4. Hollywood Greek (3-2-0-0 $93.430), trained by Chili King Stables

This next filly is two for two over this Woodbine turf course in her short career already and she has a stakes win here. She won the Catch A Glimpse over a yielding turf course in her last start here. If she can handle the distance she will be one to look out for.

5. Shalakar (4-1-0-0 $52.800), trained by John Henry

And this filly here will be making her first ever start on the turf in here after four races on the dirt. This will also be her first start for trainer John Henry after he bought her about a month ago. A lot of new things for this one so not sure how she’ll run.

6. Clapback (4-2-0-0 $31.200), trained by Mb Stables

And here is the second for Mb Stables and this filly also ran in the La Senorita at Retama like a couple others in this race. She ran fourth that day behind two of the runners to her inside but she did not run too bad. She will definitely have to improve to win though.

7. Sin City Jordan (2-1-1-0 $50.140), trained by Onlineracingclub.com

This next filly is coming into this race off of a win against Ontario bred maiden special weight runners here at Woodbine. She won nicely that day but this is a very big jump up in class so she is going to have to run a huge race to get the job done in here.

8. Twenties Style (3-1-2-0 $48.080), trained by Threshold

This next filly is making her first start on the turf but she did run second in a stakes race in her last start so she is talented. Her works on the turf look pretty solid so if she can run to those works she might have a good chance in here.

9. Textes From My Exes (4-1-1-0 $54.580), trained by Night Rider Stables

This next filly is coming into this race off of a second place finish in the Johnson at Saratoga where she ran a big race. She was only beaten a length that day and that was a good field. If she runs that type of race she will run good in here.

10. Streamlined (4-1-1-1 $64.680), trained by TwinTowers Racing

And this next filly is coming into this race off of a very dominating performance in a maiden special weight at Saratoga where she won by five lengths that day. If she runs like that in here she will have a pretty good chance to win it I think.

11. Slipdamaloo (3-1-1-0 $46.600), trained by Aer Stables

This next filly is also coming into this race off of a maiden special weight win but she won at Del Mar. She won by a length that day and ran a good race in her first start on turf so she should improve off of that race. She does have a tough post though.

12. Unmistakable (3-1-0-0 $28.000), trained by Mb Stables

And the final filly in the field and also the last one for Mb Stables is going to be making her first start ever on the turf in here. The works are pretty good but she has a very tough post to overcome for sure. She will have to run huge to have a shot.

Summary

Well a full field of nice fillies and they are all going for that free spot in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. My top pick is going to be Scent Of A Filly off of that win in a stakes race at Retama. Good luck to all in the field.
