Two Year Olds Fillies

A group of twelve two year old fillies are entered up for this years running of the grade three Schuylerville here on opening at the Spa. Maybe the most anticipated meet of the year right here and it is a full field to kick off the opening day. Let’s take a look at the field.

1. Cp Great Moon Queen (3-1-1-1 $47.100), trained by Childs Play

The first filly in the field right here is already a stakes placed runner in her first three outs when she ran second in the Astoria at Belmont in her last start. She ran a very good race that day and only got beat by a neck. All she has to do is one better in here and I think she could.

2. Q Ball (1-1-0-0 $27.000), trained by Aer Stables

An undefeated filly right here in one start which was in a maiden special weight at Parx a little over a month ago. It was a very impressive win in her first out against some runners that already had a start. I think she probably improved off of that win and she might be ready to go in here.

3. Speed Creep (1-1-0-0 $18.000), trained by Jive Inc

Another undefeated runner in the field but this filly has not been seen since April when she won a maiden special weight at Golden Gate. She was bought from another trainer so this will be her first start for Jive Inc. She ran a pretty good race that day but she has been off for a while.

4. Screw The Lightbulb (2-2-0-0 $18.900), trained by Night Rider Stables

And just like quite a few runners in this field this filly is also undefeated in her two career starts. She won a maiden special weight at Turf Paradise and then won a first level allowance race at Louisiana Downs. A step up in class for sure here but she has done nothing wrong so far.

5. Zealous Kruz (1-1-0-0 $24.000), trained by Estero Farms

Once again and undefeated filly in the field right here and this filly is coming into this race off of a win in a maiden special weight at Pimlico Racetrack. She ran a good race that day and should have improved off of that win and she should have a nice chance in here.

6. Shot Of Reality (2-1-0-0 $28.200), trained by Mb Stables

Another one that is coming out of the Astoria at Belmont is this girl right here. She ran a closing fourth that day but I think that she just needed a little bit more ground which she will get in here. I think that the six furlongs will definitely be to her advantage.

7. Made In America (1-1-0-0 $33.000), trained by Jive Inc

The second filly from Jive Inc right here and this one won a maiden special weight at Santa Anita back in April. She was bough after that win so this will be her first out for Jive Inc just like her stablemate. She won nicely that day but hasn’t ran in a while.

8. Golden Niagra (4-1-1-0 $47.400), trained by Williams9

The most experienced filly in the field right here with four starts and she has been after it so far. She did win in her last start which was a maiden special weight at Santa Anita against California breds. She has been getting after it so far but I think she could have a chance but she also has the worst jock on.

9. Crack Joint (2-1-0-0 $39.000), trained by Gdp Inc

This next filly right here won her last start at Woodbine against maiden special weight runners and she did it pretty nicely. She looks just as good as most of these I think and I also think that Gdp Inc has her ready to go. I wouldn’t be surprised if she ran a big race.

10. Lullaby Baby (2-1-0-0 $27.000), trained by D J C Racing Stables

The first of two for D J C Racing Stables right here and this filly just ran seventh in the Astoria at Belmont. She did win her start at Parx in early April though pretty nicely. I think she will run a whole lot better than she did in her last start.

11. The Belle Tolls (2-2-0-0 $123.000), trained by Allinthegate

And once again another one this is coming out of the Astoria but this filly did win that day very impressively and I don’t see why she couldn’t do that in here. She is going to be my top pick in here as she is already a stakes winner and has been a couple of these already.

12. Dublin Style (2-1-0-1 $57.000), trained by D J C Racing Stables

The second runner for D J C Racing Stables right here and the final filly in the field and she is also coming out of the Astoria where she ran third. She was closing late that day so I think the extra sixteenth of a mile will help her out. I think she will run a good race.

Summary

A full field right here and I think that there is quite a few fillies in here that are pretty nice. My top pick is going to be the stakes winner in the field and that is The Belle Tolls off of that win in the Astoria. Good luck to all that are in the field.
