Theres a reason that the handicapping comp can seem difficult at times and this is a good example as this one rated at 126/1 by the odds monkeys went from being beaten in a one-win allowance to grade two winner. Nearer last than first for much of the race she picked up like a favorite when asked and got up by a neck at the wire. Her works had been promising a better and todays win was probably more surprising to others than it was to her trainer            

2nd       Acapulco Gray              Maxmillion Farm         Jimenez A            1:21.91

Looked to have run the perfect race but was collared in the stretch when it looked like she was going to go on and win. This was a good run, but I feel it may disappoint the trainer that she didn’t take her winning run to three.        

3rd        Noemi                Maxmillion Farm         Bridgmohan S X          1:22.10

Stalked the lead and looked to be going on with it before just flattening out a little and ending up third. She may have done a bit too much work early here but still managed to maintain her enviably consistent record of never finishing outside the top four.

4th        Tariff Terror      Pan Farms       Bejarano R                      1:22.15

Close to the lead throughout, like the third placed horse she found little when the whips came. The pace was strong but not suicidal so it was a bit of a surprise to see the closers catch them so readily but catch them they did and this one had no answers.
