The closers keep winnin’...  Threshold’s Uranus stayed well off of the early pace in Saturday’s SA Hcp (GI) but down the lane, he splashed home like a 6yo in the front yard, clearing the field just inside the final sixteenth and going under the wire clear by a length, stopping the timer at 2:05.01 and completing the task of taking a $47.500 claimer to grade one glory.  East Of Creep was on or near the lead throughout this one, but could only muster second, today, a length better than Face The Lunatic in third, and Hangry Commander took the minor money.  Seven lengths covered the field of nine.
