This filly has plenty of guts and she showed them in their glory today humping joint top weight to a game neck win. The mile has always looked her minimum trip but she stayed close enough to the early pace to use her good finish and thoroughly deserved this win. She looks to be still improving and i would imagine she will make an even better five year old.

2nd   Walklikemydad               Flamingg Moe  Frey K

It was great to see the two best horses in the finish despite their top weight but this one couldnt confirm her Matchmaker form with the winner and went down by a neck. Travelling in the stalk she looked to be going well enough to win and stuck to it but couldn’t hold the strong Wednesday in the end.

3rd   Spirits Feronia               Straight Arrow  Franco M

Made the running from the wide draw and stuck on gamely for third. This was a good effort over a trip that seemed to stretch her stamina too far.

4th   Woman On A Mission  Greeko Holdem  Sanchez M J

Came from behind and flew up just failing by less than a half length. This was a great effort and the way she runs i imagine she could pick up a nice race over 9 furlongs or more.
