The Green Card hands out the trifecta as the tote-board is lit-up on a rainy, dreary day at KEE! It wasn’t purple rain, just the regular ol’ wet kind that made the KEE turf soft, but Big Jd Racing’s When Doves Cry, a 10/1 outsider, stalked the pace, hit the front end at the furlong pole and stayed to the task at hand to take Friday’s Limestone Turf Sprint, stopping the clock in 1:05.89 for the five and a half furlongs, over the soft Lexington lawn. Fox Off was dispatched at 12/1 odds and closed well to nose-out True Dreamer for the place. It was another length to a bang-bang-bang finish were Count The Gold won the photo for the minor money. Ten lengths covered the field of eight.
