1st   Whispering Nurse  D J C Racing Stables  Velazquez J R
Her winning distance over her rivals may have been exaggerated by the off track but this great filly ran the perfect race from the perfect draw and won by a fairly comfortable length. Topping the 2K in prize money she will now go forward to try and do the almost impossible and beat the three’s as they come through the ranks with the weight allowance in tow. It would be great to see her get to the BC intact.

2nd   Dirty Deeds                Aer Stables                Ortiz I Jr
The outside speed push threw her to the front out of the gate but Oritz managed to overcome the draw bias to get her tucked in after the quarter pole. She came again but didnt have the turn of foot to get past her old rival Whispering Nurse.

3rd   Viking Vania                Delta Farms               Albarado R J
Took over from Dirty Deeds when that jockey took a pull and ran a similar race as she did in the San Margerita weakening into a fairly well beaten third. She doesnt like off tracks so we will have to wait and see whether this is the beginning of the end or just a wet ground blip.

4th   Conspiring                Mb Stables               Bejarano R
If you compare this run to her run in the San Margerita it pretty much sums her up as her inconsistency shone through once again. I dont think she particularly likes wet ground but there wasnt any real excuses to this rather average run.
