1 Kruzin The World Night Rider Stables Ortiz I Jr

This four year old was subject to one of Night Riders good claims 3 back when she finished third in a $16.000 claimer. Just 6 weeks later she ran a slower time over the same trip to win a big ticket starter allowance at SAR but then may have been a little outclassed when a one paced sixth in the Honorable Miss handicap. Back in her grade last time she was a game winner of a $50.000 claimer and whilst that wasn’t a stakes race there really isn’t much in this race that wouldn’t look out of place in that sort of grade. So a great draw will help off set the weight penalty for being a four year old and she wouldn’t be without a chance.

2 Respected Wishes Crocker Ggs Davis D

Is on a hat trick and gets the two box and that could be enough in a race where there isn’t much top level form to go on. She won a KEE Allowance last time in 1.09 by two easy lengths and that says to me that she is rapidly improving and ready to win.
3 Copper Mama Team 7 Illusions Lezcano J

Bought for $130.000 you can never write anything off from this stable especially if they have shelled out that sort of cash. She has never run on the dirt before but at HRP, believe it or not, that can be an advantage for some reason.

4 Spicy Junction Arindel Velazquez J R

An honest sort who is working well and would be up to winning this even with a four year old penalty. If she doesn’t get too far back or the pace is fast I can see her running through at the end.

5 Khloe D J C Racing Stables Juarez N

Upped to allowance level after two good wins in lesser company she came a bit unstuck and that makes it hard to fancy her chances in this. Working fast so who knows… but not for me today.

6 Immortal Steel Wolf Ridge Stables Carmouche K

Another solid older horse she is six years old now but continues to race honestly. The winner of nine she gets a nasty looking weight for this and she would have to be in career best form to win this with 126Lbs.

7 Slytherin Arindel Franco M

Gets the outside draw which never helps but would have a chance on her fourth in the CT Oaks. I think there are better chances inside her but if things play out to favor the outside she has every right to run a race.

SUMMARY

For me this is between Respected Wishes and Copper Mama for no other reason than draw and weights.
