Another one of those tough fours and up races that could go to anything. This one was bought at auction last year and has yet to really click for the new owner. He was better in is last start and has a decent draw and put that with his recent fast mile work time and he may have found the steep upward slope in his improvement curve.

2 Gamblin Greek Mb Stables Saez G

Claimed last year the trainer has been gentle with him since but his two from two record this year suggests they are starting to find the key to unlock his potential. The perfect draw for the best trainer in the game may be enough to see him winning.

3 High Fives High Voltage Bridgmohan S X

A consistent sort at stakes level but he doesn’t win too often. The works and the form coupled with the draw give him a good winning chance.

4 Rotten Apple Nakamura Stables Garcia Mar

Another one for the stable he won a competitive claimer last time and has some great works in his record suggesting that once he starts winning it may be tough to stop him.
5 Southern Attitude Arindel Talamo J

Won three in a row for Mb Stables but hasn’t really raced much since then. After being bought at auction he raced for the first time in 14 weeks and did well in a GP grade three and if that race has brought him on then he will be a good chance of getting closer today.

6 Insist On Beauty Chili King Stables Leparoux J R

Tough and consistent at lower grade he strikes a tough field to try and take some black type. His last start was good enough to put him in the mix.

8 Born To Laff Threshold Beschizza A

Bought cheaply after running out of some good form he has been running at the fair tracks to try and bring back his mojo. Two wins and a good mile work suggest that may have worked and he may be the bolter.

9 The Mist Rampage Stable Gaffalione T

Decent enough form and good enough works he comes into this with a bit of a chance even with a wide gate. His run last time was pretty good over this trip in a better race but he has yet to win out of overnight grade.

10 Boa G Night Rider Stables Bejarano R

Draws the car park but is consistent and working well so is not out of it. Won over this trip in lower grade last time but it really is down to the shape of the race and the draw as to whether he runs his best race.

SUMMARY

Another of those fours and up races that is almost impossible to pick a winner. You could make a case for any of them but i will box up the 1, the 2 and the 8 for the trifecta.
