Coming from a wide draw and running the stalk can often leave a horse doing too much early on but this filly came across track conditions today that gave her a bit of help. We know she can run a mile out and we knew her work times have been pretty sharp so with a muddy track came her opportunity to show her racing heart as well as speed and stamina and she did so very nicely. A very consistent sort she will certainly appreciate the weight advantage over the older fillies when she starts to tackle graded stakes.

Considering she has struggled on off tracks before this was a solid effort. Her works were suggesting improvement and that came through today with a good effort to be beaten just a head.

Stayed on well for third a length behind the dueling first two and although she never looked like beating them she certainly stepped up on recent efforts and is going the right way.

4th           Etive            Sccj Stables           Contreras L

Much better than her last run in stakes company she stayed on without threatening. A race like this is certainly in her scope and she is another that will be happy when taking on the older fillies and mares.
