The two pounds that Your Demise had to spot her five rivals in the $150.000 TTA Sales Futurity-Fillies didn’t slow her down one bit.  Sometimes you’re just better than your opposition, and with three wins from three starts (all at LS), Your Demise may have raced against strictly TX-bred foes for the final time.  The Luz International-homebred has now earned $154.800 in her perfect three-race career and looks to be ready for bigger ponds, if she so chooses.

Breaking from stall three, Your Demise, with S. Elliott in the saddle, quickly established the terms of engagement.  Moving to the rail, Your Demise was pressured by Pink Concerto through an opening quarter in :22.61.  She looked to have put that one away after a half went in :45.44, but Yellowjacket was looking to launch a three-wide challenge as they exited the turn.

Your Demise maintained her advantage through five furlongs in :57.41 with Yellowjacket trying to close the gap.  Try as she might, Yellowjacket would get no closer than the length and a half final margin as Your Demise stopped the clock in 1:03.72.  Veggie Wedges made up a ton of ground through the stretch to gain the show just a half-length behind Yellowjacket.  Completing the order of finish were Pink Concerto, Ant Bee, and Meta First.
