1st Z Command, trained by Joshua Stables

This filly finally got her graded stakes win here with a very nice run to get the job done and win by a length. She sat near the back of the field for most of the way and then blew by everyone in front of her. She ran the distance in 1:41.51 and earned $120.000 for the win.

2nd Puerto Princesa, trained by Paradise Stable

Almost pulling off the upset right here as she tried to steal this race with a front running style that almost paid off. She didn’t go to the lead right away but she did end up opening up by at least three lengths at one point. She did get caught but she did hold on for a good second.

3rd Stormy Embrace, trained by Mb Stables

Not a bad run from this filly either as she ran a pretty decent third here but I do think that she may have ran a little bit better if she didn’t jump out to the lead early. She still ran pretty good to run third and only get beat by two lengths by an impressive winner.

4th Maggie McGee, trained by D J C Racing Stables

Not a terrible outing from this filly but I also do not think that it was her best effort but her come from behind was also a little hindered because of the small field. She was last early and made up a couple lengths and she did at least run fourth and get a couple dollars.

Summary

Well it was about time that Z Command won a graded stakes race and this was a perfect spot to do so. Not a big field and she was the best looking runner on paper so no surprise that she won this race to me. Congratulations to Z Command and Joshua Stables.
