Z Command Looks the Favorite in The Rampart

The Rampart – GIII
12/12/20
GP Race 7 1M – Dirt
Purse $100.000
Three Year Olds and Up Fillies and Mares

Only seven entries here for this year’s running of the grade three Rampart here at Gulfstream Park on a stakes action packed day. Let’s go ahead and take a look at this field.

1. Giveaway (7-3-1-0 $139.270), trained by Nakamura Stables

First up in the field here and this filly is coming into this race off of a second in statebred stakes action. She won a stakes race before that and she should have a pretty good shot in here.

2. Obvious Deception (20-6-2-4 $426.000), trained by Nakamura Stables

Second for Nakamura Stables in the field here and she is a grade one winner on the year. Won that grade one three races back and if she runs that race here she should win.

3. Pink N Bold (8-5-1-1 $282.140), trained by Iolaus Racing

Next up another graded stakes winner on the year and she won a grade three just two races back and tried grade one level last time. She should have a decent little chance in here I think.

4. Miss Steel Mazula (9-4-0-0 $188.970), trained by Nakamura Stables

Third and final for Nakamura Stables in the field here and this filly is coming into this race after being beat at the grade one level. Dropping back should help her out but not shre if she is better than her stablemates.

5. Supersede (12-7-1-1 $160.310), trained by Nj Vets

Moving onto this filly here who is going to being switching over to the dirt after a long stretch of races on the turf. A very good sprinter on the turf but not sure how she will be long on the dirt.

6. Z Command (22-9-3-4 $3486.200), trained by Smokey Stover

One of the best fillies on the game here and she was on a tear earlier this year winning all the time. Last two she was beaten but j think she’ll bounce back and she should win this race.

7. Beldame (10-4-0-3 $191.300), trained by D J C Racing Stables

Last but not least is this filly here and she is coming into this race off of a third against statebred stakes horses. She is a nice filly but not sure she is quite up to it against these.

Summary

Well I think it is rather obvious who the clear choice in this race is as Z Command is coming into the race and she just oozes class. She is my top pick. Good luck to all in the field.
