2 WO Wonder Where Stakes
$250.000 3yo F Foaled In CA 1 1/4m Turf 123lbs
We have a field of seven Canadian bred 3yo fillies set to go the classic mile and a quarter on the WO grass this Sunday, and we look at the field for the Wonder Where Stakes. This looks like a wide open affair with a ton of talent and it’s hard to nail down a solid choice here, but I’ll give the edge to Kiwi Sunshine. She has tactical speed but also think she has been wanting longer, despite getting nailed on the wire last out vs. similar, while setting the pace in that race. I’ll go right next door to the rail and give Unsuspecting a big shot shot. She was sixth last out but that was a tough group of GI horses and this is obviously a bit softer than that. She’s another that has some early foot so there should be no lack of pace today. I don’t seen anything that I would consider a stone-cold closer, so let’s see how the early fractions work themselves out and this should be a fun race to take in.
