Resilient Fawkes Overcomes Wide Trip to Win BC Classic
Ten years ago, Delta Farms celebrated what was, at the time, his biggest career win, as Viking Shield won the 2015 BC Classic over Port On The Horizon, A One, and Niagra at KEE. A decade later, he would bring Fawkes to DMR, hoping that the Haskell winner could duplicate Viking Shield’s accomplishment.

Lemax Farms Stays Hot and Wins BC Turf Sprint with Brits Style
It’s been a weekend to remember for Lemax Farms, as the longtime stable got not one, but two BC victories. On Friday, he watched as Britslastempire went to win the BC Juvenile Turf by two lengths, and on Saturday, it would be Brits Style winning a lot closer margin but prevailing all the same in the BC Turf Sprint.

Presenting the Field for the 2025 BC Classic
It’s time for the biggest race of the year, the $7,000.000 BC Classic. There is no bigger race that a virtual horse can win, as while it takes a lot to win the KYD, there is just something a little more special about this race. To get here is a true accomplishment, so for everyone that has a horse in this field, I want to offer my congratulations.

In The Zone for BC Turf Sprint
The BC Turf Sprint is not the biggest race on the BC schedule this weekend, and turf sprinters often go under the radar in comparison to their counterparts that want to run longer, or do it on the main track. That does not mean their achievements should not be celebrated, and on Saturday fourteen of the best at what they do will be heading to the starting gate.

Bear Head Shows His Good Side In The Station

Diametric Goes Wire To Wire In The Fayette
Despite being in a barn which is not shy about running horses in stakes, Diametric had spent most of his career running in overnights, and consistent hitting the board in them. In August, Diametric finally got his chance to step up in a high paying ungraded race in 2025, and would run second in the $200.000 Jones Stakes.

Looking for a King in Fayette
On Saturday, we will have a field of seven taking part in the 21st running of the Fayette, a nine furlong Grade 3 on the main track for three year olds and upward. This race got its purse boost in 2022, from $200.000 to the current level of $350.000, but is downgraded in classification for the first time, having been a Grade 2 since 2009.

Knights and Fire Are Theme of Station
The Station will offer the highest purse this weekend of any race that takes place as we continue to get closer to the BC races. Before we get to that, how about a $600.000 purse that is up for grabs this Saturday for three year old turf horses. This race runs for the ninth time, but has not been carded every single year.
