Thousand Hours Is Back to Winning Form in Raven Run
There was much to like about Thousand Hours at the start of the year when she went on a three race winning streak that included two prep races for the KYO. Though she did run in that and later ran third in the Acorn, she had not been as strong more recently.

Aggravated Jung Takes It Out on Field in Perryville Stretch for the Win
Aggravated Jung came into the Perryville sitting 19th on the leaderboard for the BC Sprint, seemingly out of the big race in a couple of weeks. All hope was not officially lost, and in the Perryville he would take care of business, grabbing a big win but also enough points to move him up to ninth for the BC Sprint.

Nine Will Hunt for Raven Run Win
We started off with ten horses for the Grade 2 Raven Run at KEE on Saturday, but after an early scratch, we are left with nine that will be looking to pick up the winner’s share of the $400.000 purse. Eleven were entered into the Glen Cove, but after a couple of early scratches, we now will have just nine heading to the starting gate for the race. This is the fifth time that the race has been run, and it will be the first time that race carries a graded designation.

It’s been run every year since 2005, and the purse is at its high point right now, up from $750.000 last year.

Fight Clubber Knocks Them Out in Stretch to Win Bourbon
Two year old stakes races can often give us a surprising winner, but that would not be the case for readers of our preview, as Fight Clubber showed that his win in the KD Juvenile was not a fluke by knocking out the field in the Bourbon. Why he was 19/1, I can’t explain, but take that easy money!

Tight Finish in Shadwell Turf Mile Sees Seven Is Lucky Prevail
While Seven Is Lucky may have been a 14/1 longshot in the Shadwell Turf Mile, he is no stranger to success in this race, having finished second two years ago. He’s been decent this year as well, but in this field, he would be lost in the shuffle with all of the talent around him.
