The Personal Ensign has been run every year since 2004, but one thing that we have never had in the race was a repeat winner. Starting Over would have the chance to be the first one to accomplish the feat, and she has always taken a liking to SAR, so she seemed to have a good shot.

Duke Of Love Gets Up Just in Time to Capture Kings Plate
It was an interesting field for the Kings Plate this year as an enormous opportunity was there for the taking for any of our seven runners to score the biggest win of their career and make a name for themselves in the virtual world of racing. There was a threat of rain, and while it may have made the turf course “good”, it did not have any impact on the main track.

Cheap Ways Provides Big Payouts in The Iselin Stakes
Early in his career, Cheap Ways spent time in several cheap races, and he has passed through several different barns. In June, there was nothing cheap about claiming tag that he ran for, and Iolaus Racing made the $80.000 commitment to pick him up.
