Late Run by Investment Center Pays Off in Clark
Before the Clark even began, we were surprised to learn that all three of the Fractious runners that were scheduled would be scratched for the race. This would leave us with a field of eight on a fast track, so it’s not as if rain caused the scratches.

Reorganize Hangs on to Light Up the Board in Mrs Revere
While we certainly expect every graded stake to be highly competitive, the field for the Mrs Revere was interesting because most of the fillies came into the race hot, either riding a winning streak of multiple races, or simply being on great form. Since June, Reorganize has been running well, but still would go off as a 38/1 longshot.

Big Win for Skydancer in Falls City Stakes
It was some early morning racing at CD this morning, as the 10:00am post time saw a field of four run in the Falls City Stakes. We would have one scratch in the race, and it was the one we picked to win: Two Phils. This moved up Skydancer to be our pick, and the Riggins Racing filly would score a convincing three length victory!

Mrs Revere Sees Several Red-Hot Fillies Taking Part
The card at CD on Friday has a little something for three year old turf fillies, as the 21st running of the Mrs Revere takes place. The conditions for this race have been constant over the years, with the price seeing a gradual increase to the present level.

Winned And Were Wolf Gets W’s in Commonwealth Turf
Well, I guess I was due. After hearing others talk about the dead heats in the races they have been covering, I was thinking that it actually had been a little while since I had one. With the game reading my mind, we get a dead heat this afternoon in the Commonwealth Turf.

Lil Sunshine Hopes to Shine Bright in Staten Island
Female NY-breds will get their chance to run in the NY Stallion Series on Saturday in the 16th running of the Staten Island, which is a seven furlong race on the track. When the race first appeared on the schedule, it ran for just a $75.000 purse, but the increases have only been slight, at best.
