Impressive Closing Effort Earns Hiei Pacific Classic Victory
Last year, Hiei finished third in the BC Classic after a late run in the stretch saw him get within a half length. Now, he is assured of his chance to return to that race once again, just as long as his trainer, Fractious, wants him there. To do that, he had a similar late run but was able to get by them all to win the Pacific Classic.

Demanding Commander Steals the Show in KD Ladies Turf
We’ll have to wait a little to talk about La Terrifiant cracking $10,000.000 in career earnings, because the KD Ladies Turf would belong to Mb Stables. Demanding Commander and Wander would finish in the top two spots, capping off a great race for the trainer.

Mo Ki Mo Closes Well to Win KD Ladies Sprint
We had some rain fall at KD, and that left the turf simply as good and led to the scratches of two horses. That did not completely dampen the day, or the running of KD Ladies Sprint, as we still had eleven horses going to post, and Smokey Stover smiling in the winner’s circle after the race.

La Terrifiant Can Make History in KD Ladies Turf
The great La Terrifiant returns to the track on Saturday for the 68th time in her career, and hopes that this will be the race that pushes her over the $10,000.000 mark in lifetime earnings. Any finish in the top three would accomplish that while fourth would get her agonizingly close.

KD Ladies Sprint Looks Very Competitive
It’s a big day at KD on Saturday, and turf horses could not be any happier. Part of the card features the ninth running of the KD Ladies Sprint, a $1.000.000 race for females. It’s a fantastic opportunity, and it should come as no surprise that we will have a nearly full field as thirteen horses head to the starting gate.

It’s Pacific Classic Time at DMR
On Saturday, the virtual racing world will be focused out west as our next “win and you’re in” race for the BC Classic takes place at DMR. It is none other than the Pacific Classic, a race that has seen the likes of Icicle, Barbarino, and Ginger Haggis pick up victories, while Combat Wombat even did it twice.

Lady Sammyantha Will Be Back in BC After Ballerina Win
It is now official: Lady Sammyantha will be returning to the BC Fillies and Mares Sprint to defend her title in that race, just as long as her trainer wants her there, after her victory in the Grade 1 Ballerina. It will become the third time that the veteran Ginger Haggis mare will be in the race, and she will look to become the second repeat winner of it.

Lunar Victory Takes CT Classic in Convincing Fashion
Nine horses made their way to CT on Friday for the running of the CT Classic, but only one of them could pick up the winner’s share of the $1,000.000 purse. After nine furlongs on this beloved bullring, it would be the choice of the betting public, Lunar Victory getting the win.

Starting Over Wins Personal Ensign Again and Continues SAR Dominance
The Personal Ensign has been run every year since 2004, but one thing that we have never had in the race was a repeat winner. Starting Over would have the chance to be the first one to accomplish the feat, and she has always taken a liking to SAR, so she seemed to have a good shot.

Twelve Look to Dance the Best in The Ballerina
The biggest day of the Saratoga meet is upon us, and it will be highlighted by the Grade 1 Travers. However, that is just one of many great races, and in the Ballerina, we have a “win and you’re race” for the BC Fillies and Mares Sprint, and it is the first such race for this division, so there is plenty of incentive to win.
