In BC Classic, Third Time’s The Charm for Tactical
It was a great day of racing at DMR that saw a few trainers win multiple races, but the biggest prize of them all was left for last in the running of the BC Classic. This was the third time that Tactical had run in the BC Classic, and in 2019, he nearly pulled it off.

Plenty to Love About I Love Me’s BC Juvenile Fillies Turf Win
With as much as Mb Stables has done in the game, there is not a lot that he actually has not accomplished, at least once. One of those races that he had not yet won was the BC Juvenile Fillies Turf, perhaps a mild surprise since he does so well in the BC Juvenile Fillies. Well, we can now cross this one as I Love Me, a homebred by Centerpiece, comes through with a length victory.

Lailoni Gives Arindel First BC Win in BC Juvenile Fillies
With such a strong field in the BC Juvenile Fillies, bettors looked away from Lailoni, and she would go off at odds of 121/1. No one probably thought she was a bad horse, but she didn’t have as much graded success as others in the field did. None of that would matter as she would be much the best in this race to give trainer Arindel his first, of likely more, career BC win.

Heavy Favorite Pytrannical Wins Twilight Derby
Ptyrannical went off as a big favorite for the Twilight Derby, at odds of , as bettors found his experience in races like this quite appealing. There would be no spirits that kept this one away from the winner’s circle on Halloween, but it was a nail biter as he narrowly defeated the pace setter, Sovereign Leader, at the wire.

Hot Summer Looks Dominant in The Empire Distaff
The Empire Distaff seemed to be a good landing spot for Hot Summer after back to back disappointing races in the Alabama and the TC of America. The competition level would not be as strong, but still be strong enough. It would prove to be a great decision for trainer D J C Racing Stables as his filly picks up the victory in convincing fashion.

This Girl Gets Her Name in The Ticonderoga
Heading into The Ticonderoga, A Girl Has No Name had done very little in the stakes that she had run in. Back in 2019, there was an ungraded victory, but other than that, she has been unable to step up to be successful at this level. In overnights, she has been very good, but it had not been the case in stakes.

Twilight Derby Takes Place This Halloween
Halloween will give us some exciting stakes action this year as the 16th running of the Twilight Derby takes place at SA. It only draws a field of five, perhaps something that was affected by the race being so close to the BC.
