This Time Chai Danger Doesn’t Have to Share LCD Turf Trophy
Last year, Chai Danger found himself victorious in the LCD Turf, but he had to share the winner’s circle with another horse. This time, he did one better, winning the race outright. Louisiana Chicken made sure that he was in a tight photo again, but Chai Danger prevails and becomes the first horse to win this race twice.

Many First Time Routers in Hobbs Fall Classic

Chai Danger Looks to Win LCD Turf Again
There is plenty of statebred racing on the schedule at FG this Saturday, and one of the races on the card is the 14th running of the LCD Turf, which sends the field a little more than a mile on the grass. It first appeared on the schedule in 2006, but has not been contested every year.

Coconut Milk Puts The BC Behind Her In The Matriarch
With seven horses returning from the BC Fillies and Mares Turf last month, the field for the Matriarch was impressive. We knew that we were in for a great race as horses had a chance to further make a statement from a strong run in the BC, or to perhaps, get a little redemption.

Crimson Rioja Runs Down Pacesetters to Win Valedictory Stakes
When races can look similar all too often, when something out of the ordinary happens, it’s at least interesting to write up as an observer. Saturday was a wet day at many race tracks across the virtual nation, and AQU was not immune to the raindrops on this day. The track would be downgraded to “good”, but it would not lead to any scratches. When there is a rain, you want a horse that knows how to figure out a storm, so it is only fitting that our pre-race pick to win, Figured The Storm, would end up getting the win.

The Matriarch Is a Mini BC Fillies and Mares Turf Rematch
A strong field has assembled at DMR for the Grade 1 Matriarch, a race that it almost a rematch of the BC Fillies and Mares Turf from last month. Seven horses in this field ran in that race, and while we won’t have the winner, Perfect Class, here, we will such greats like La Terrifiant, Maggie Greene, Proud Eights, and much more.

Tokyo Story Shines Brightest in Golden Rod
The 20th running of the Golden Rod took place Saturday at CD, giving two year old fillies a chance to earn some valuable KYO points in addition to the winner’s share of the $400.000 purse. A race like this can always seem up for grabs between at least half of the field, and that was certainly the case here.
