1st Banshee Star, trained by Joseph Racing

Definitely a breakout performance today as this horse absolutely loved the soft turf course in here. Sitting midpack early he just crushed to cruise to an ever so easy victory for a grade one victory. He ended up finishing the race in a final time of 1:50.61 an earned a pretty penny of $300.000 for the win.

2nd Decibel, trained by Threshold

My pick of the race he sat second most of the way and then was passed by the eventual winner and was just no match for that horse today. I don’t think the soft is his best going but his class pulled him to a second place finish. Trainer Threshold wasn’t extremely happy with the finish but he is glad he didn’t run last.

3rd Major Wiener, trained by Night Rider Stables

His rabbit did some work for him but it was eventually not enough for him to get the win as be could only close for a third place finish. Seven lengths back early he made up a little ground but it was never going to be enough to catch the runaway winner. Not the best result but not the worst either.

4th Lets Do It Big Boy, trained by Team 7 Illusions

First start on a wet track for this horse wasn’t his best but definitely not his worst because he at least earned some money in the process. He ran in the same spot most of the way pretty much ending up getting beat by a decent margin of only five lengths. A decent run from and might have done better on firm turf.

Summary

The winner absolutely loved the off going here and just cruised to an easy win here. The easiest winner here an just crushed the field. Decibel ran very good too given it was his first start ever on an off track and Major Wiener didn’t run too bad either. Congrats to the connections of the horses.
