Beaumont GR-2

)Kristens Gravity, J Velazquez – This filly makes her 2nd start as a 3yo after a narrow defeat in a $75.000 overnight stake last out. Quick works set this filly up as a serious threat come tomorrow.

)Dying For Iron, J. Leparoux – This quick filly goes for her 3rd consecutive win for MB Stables. She has a great amount of experience on this stage. Look for her to be right there at the wire.

)Mischief Made, R. Bejarano – This undefeated filly looks to win for the 5th time from 5 lifetime starts. Superb training job my MB Stables spacing this fills races out and keeping her fresh. Look for her to win here at ease today and to be a serious contender in the Filly and Mare Sprint division throughout this year.

)Behrens Bride, S. Russell – This filly attempts to reach the Kentucky Oaks field, but it looks doubtful due to her current standing on the point list. Regardless, she hasn’t been out of the money in a while and I would expect the same result.

)Song Of Money, J. Castellano – This Louisiana bred 3yo filly returns to the good ole’ dirt after taking a crack at the turf last out where she finished 3rd. Returns to the dirt where she last won in 2014.

)Lovely Rosa, M. Smith – With a win or a place this filly will be off to Kentucky for the Oaks in about 3 weeks. She’s a real contender here and we’ll see how she does in the Oaks if she can punch her ticket here.

)Cowboy Melodie, D. Van Dyke – This filly makes her graded stakes debut after being offered for a $30.000 tag just under a year ago. She has yet to win since that $30.000 MCL, and will be in tough here.

)Ancient Royalty, V. Espinoza – Regardless of placing, this filly will not make it to the Oaks. She was 2nd by a narrow margin last out in a GIII and with her speed two back, this 7f should be to her liking.
