1st British Chai, trained by Mo Mentum Farm

This filly here is on a roll now with three wins and a second in her last four starts and she has been running very good lately. She ran a big race in here after sitting right off the pace setter the whole way and then kicking past for the win. She ran the race in 1:13.46 on a sloppy track and earned $75.000.

2nd Thalassa, trained by Maxmillion Farm

Well this runner stepped up in class from the starter allowances pretty good to dead heat for second and only end up getting beat a neck. She came from pretty far back and she didn’t seem to mind the slop at all. She closed very good and with a little more ground she might have ended up winning.

2nd Rented Mule, trained by Angelos Stable

This filly here tried to take this field gate to wire and she nearly did that but was just beaten a neck and dead heated for second. She was leading all the way and setting pretty solid fractions for the going. She ran a very good and almost pulled off a front running performance but was just nearly beat.

4th Speak Now, trained by Hambletonian Stable

This filly also ran very good and was only a length within the winner and it made a very exciting race with all these runners so close at the finish line. She was midpack most of the way in the early parts and closed most of the way to only end up getting beat by a length. She also ran a very good race.

Summary

This race was a very exciting race for sure with only a length separating the top five finishers in the field and the top three were only separated by a neck with a dead heat for second. British Chai ran a very big race and won in a good way for sure. Congratulations to British Chai and Mo Mentum Farm.
