1st Que Paso Hermano, trained by Nakamura Stables

This horse right here ran a very big race to get his first stakes win but I didn’t think he had much of a chance to win. But he ran a huge race to come from about midpack and just blow by them all to end up winning by a quarter of a length. He ran the race in 1:21.96 and earned $120 000 for the win.

2nd Salar De Uyuni, trained by Pristine Stables

Well this horse suffered his first defeat in this race but he gave up a good fight before he ended up getting passed. He was out in front the whole way and trying to go gate to wire which is always difficult to do. If this race wasn’t seven furlongs I think he would’ve stayed undefeated but he still ran very good.

3rd Pericles, trained by Aer Stables

The other undefeated horse also suffered his first defeat but he also ran a very good race and only ended up getting beat by a half of a length. He came from midpack and made a very good run late to end up running third. He still ran a very good race even though he didn’t win and he is a nice horse.

4th Socotra Island, trained by Nynl Stables

Not a bad race from this horse at all either as he only got beat by a length and ran fourth in this race. He was up close to the pace early on and he made a little run late but just couldn’t end up getting beat only by a length which isn’t bad at all. He ran a very good race to run fourth and he is on the improve for sure.

Summary

Well Que Paso Hermano ran a very big race and surprised me for sure because he wasn’t necessarily a horse I saw winning this race but he sure did prove me wrong. He loved this seven furlong distance and the Churchill Downs track. Congratulations to Que Paso Hermano and Nakamura Stables.
