1 Mach Eight First Class Stable Hernandez R M

Tested around this level as a two year old she was a good third in the Pocahontas but failed in three other graded affairs and didnt look improved enough on debut in the Busanda. She switches t turf for the first time today but worked nicely a week or so ago on the surface so it may just be the thing she needs. Her form doesnt inspire confidence but if she takes to the grass she could be a surprise package.

2 The Richmond Slayer Eastern Equine Saez L

The winner of three from seven she is new to this level but has shown enough to take her chance and looks a real specialized turf type. She made all from this gate to win the Andromeda last time and if she gets a soft lead again today may take some beating.

3 Xtra Hot Gdp Inc Gallardo A A

Lightly raced with just the 4 starts for one win i think this filly is a little under rated and may turn out to be better than her form figures suggest. She held her place in the Starlet on the dirt and did well enough from a wide draw on seasonal debut to suggest she will be sharp for today.

4 Easier Said Mb Stables Pennington F

Pennington wont go anywhere else than Mb Stables and picks up a ride here that will probably start favorite. She ran a cracker from a nasty draw in the Sweetest Chant last time sticking on gamely and only failing by a head to win. Her works are sizzling and she looks a very good chance from an ideal draw.

5 Techno Mummy The Sidley Stud Landeros C

Won a couple as a two year old but failed at this level before being spelled last October. Her comeback run was really good as she came from a mile back to win the Coady Stakes really easily but she will really have to step up to do the same today. An each way chance for sure.

6 Great Din Drabfantasy Bejarano R

The stable can produce these lightly raced types and this filly was mighty impressive in her maiden win last November and has been working strongly at home. She may need the run but has a touch of class and should be competitive.

7 Grand Dragonville Smokey Stover Ortiz I Jr

A huge disappointment in the Sweetest Chant last time its hard to see why she ran so badly but her works since look right up to her best so it may be wise to ignore it. Second in the BC Juvenile Turf Fillies last year she looks to recover her reputation today.

8 Cest And Me D J C Racing Stables Velazquez J R

She has been harshly treated by the draw Gods recently but won the Jessamine really well last year and ran extremely well from a wide draw in the Sweetest Chant in her last start. Easy to put in the first three with a bit of luck she could win.

9 Ice Cream Truck First Street Stables Hernandez B J Jr

She had some excellent two year old turf form running third in the miss Grillo from a bad draw and a strong finishing fifth in the BC Juvenile Fillies Turf. She should be forgiven for a bad run on seasonal debut when trying the dirt and back on her best surface i expect a big effort.

10 Laffer Our Athletes Leparoux J R

A good maiden winner she was beaten in her next two but came from a long way back and ran better than her record suggests. My fear for her here from a wide draw is that she will once again get back and may have to rely on luck to get a clear run.

11 Proud Eights Estero Farms Colon L H

A winner of two from four, the trainer of the moment in Estero Farms and Colon in the saddle she would be well fancied f she wasnt drawn 11. She has run the stalk and as a closer so it may come down to some tactics and a bit of luck for her to get amongst these.

12 Lorraine Mo Mentum Farm Gaffalione T

A real tough sort she gets the nightmare of the car park but if she gets a soft lead like she has before could end up running them off their feet. The trip may find her out but she will be competitive for a long way.

SUMMARY
This looks down to four for me, Ice Cream Truck, Cest And Me, Grand Dragonville and Easier Said. I think Grand Dragonville may come back to her best here with a good draw.
