The Royal North seemed as though it would be a good race for Mb Stables, and it would be. In fact, the only thing slightly flawed about it was the winner, and there would be no repercussions here for his three entries.

North of the border on Saturday, we will have a chance to watch the 14th running of the Grade 2 Royal North Stakes, which is a turf sprint for female #three year olds and up.
