A field of seven will be heading to the starting gate for the 15th running of the MTH Oaks, which is a smaller grade 3. This race seems as though it will be wide open, as we do not have that one horse in this field that stands out.

On paper, the Seagram Cup Stakes is just a smaller Grade 3 race. However, it has attracted quite a field with a horse that hit the board in the two TC races this year dropping down, along with the reigning winner of the Apple Blossom trying out the boys.

Mad King was not a huge longshot, but it is safe to say that not many people thought that he would end up as the winner in a field that featured several others who were more accomplished.
