For me it was a swing and a miss as Here Z Comes, trained by First Street Stables, raced off of the pace while never far away, still towards the back of the field turning for home, but showing determination down the lane to get home by a half length, taking the Endeavor BC (GIII) at TAM.  The final running time was 1:39³ for the mile and a sixteenth on the Oldsmar lawn.  Concordia was reserved early but pressed the pace throughout much of this one, taking the second spot by a half length over Pirate Petranella and Hallowed Halls, as we had a dead-heat for the third spot. 

Here Z Comes is a 4yo bay filly by Z Jinxed One – Here Comes Trouble, by Levi Strauss, and she was bred in ON by her owner.  That’s back to back stakes victories for this consistent filly and she certainly looks to be in fine form, now showing six wins from fourteen starts and earnings of $291.870.

Here Z Comes broke mid pack, drifted back towards the rear of the field into the lane, responded when asked and was up late to win driving.  Concordia was off a step slow, steady gain to press the leader, good effort.  Pirate Petranella was forwardly placed throughout, no excuse, finished on even terms with foe.  Hallowed Halls trailed throughout, best foot late, DH for the show.  Gold Futures was outrun, past tiring foes late.  Sweetness pressed the pace, up to take the lead into the lane, folded.  Sweet Tip Toe broke alertly, set the pace to the lane, headed, stopped.
