Five Look to Please a Monday Crowd

We’ll get some Monday racing this week, as the great breeding state of Pennsylvania features the sixth running of the Crowd Pleaser, sending three year olds a little over a mile on the turf course at PRX. The Wild Applause is an ungraded stake held at BEL, and this year we will have a field of six in it. Six Look to Win the Inaugural Monomoy Girl

On Saturday at CD, a new stake will be run, The Monomoy Girl, sending three year old fillies a little over a mile on the main track. For now, the race is ungraded, but offers a purse higher than some Grade 3’s, so it has certainly made a positive first impression.
