Fawkes Scores an Impressive Haskell Victory

One of the top races of the summer for three year olds took place Saturday as a field of nine took part in the Haskell, seeking the winner’s share of the $1,000.000 purse and a coveted spot in the BC Classic. Those prizes are in the hands of Delta Farms as Fawkes went on to impressively win by a length.

All Take Grabs the Win in The MTH Cup

After winning the New Orleans Classic in March, All Take would have two very disappointing efforts, so it was safe to see that it was important for him to bounce back in The MTH Cup. Trainer Alydar Stables would get the effort that he was hoping for, as All Take did what he needed to do, and would go on to get his fourth win of the year.

Credit Crime Back Against Fillies in The CCA Oaks

If the CCA Oaks looks familiar to the virtual SAR- faithful, it’s probably because the top five finishers from the Acorn here last month have made their way back to the Spa to run in this race. We’ll have eight fillies in here, much like we saw last month, giving us an exciting rematch here.

Great Field Lines Up for The Haskell

It’s always exciting to see the direction that top horses in the TC will take once the BEL takes place. The Haskell is a typical next step for them, and this year’s running of the race will certainly not disappoint. We will have KYD and BEL winner Extreme Jet trying to give Mb Stables an elusive first win in the race, but he will not have it easy.

The Sidley Stud Has a Formidable MTH Cup Duo

It’s the biggest day of the year at MTH on Saturday, so it’s only fitting that the reigning BC Classic winner, Spankersville, appears on the card. However, if you’re thinking that you just saw him race, well, that’s because you did. The Sidley Stud brings him back on short rest to run here in the Grade 3 MTH Cup against eight others who haven’t had a race yet in July.
