Kentucky Fried Chick  Nolespan Racing  Saez L    3/1 119

Looked good winning the Shuvee Hcp (GIII) last out, and that was over this track and at the distance.  She’s one of those 3yo’s that seems to do better v. older horses, and that’s obviously a good thing here today.  I’d giver her a serious look as this looks like a spot where she can do some damage.  Return pilot from that last out win.  The Colonel says get ya a bucket of this one!

 Ambient  Mb Stables  Bejarano R    7/2 124

A solid late effort in the DEL Hcp (GI) got this one a third place finish when it looked like the day was not going to end well.  She’s normally up looking at the front end but had to come from well off the pace that evening.  She’s almost always around to get a check, not missing one this year, and she has plenty of black-type experience.  I’d expect another big effort here in this one.

3
 Mooncreek Mach  Riggins Racing  Desormeaux K J    15/1 124

She’s been lightly raced this season with gaps between those two ’15 starts.  She was a big horse last year taking down four wins in her eight starts.  The barn has really eased her back to the races as she was fourth in an overnight stakes at FG back in Feb, trying the turf, then aired out by five v. Alw horses brought back to the main track and at a route of ground.  She might win this – she might run last.  I can’t get a read on her.

4
Barbies Corvette  Night Mare Racing  Rosario J     4/1 124

Took the Phipps (GI) at BEL back in June and then won over this track at today’s distance in an OptAlw event.  Both of those were in wire-to-wire fashion, so you have to think they will want her out there winging it on the front end today.  She has the class… has the ability…  and may be the one to catch.

5
 Sinissippi Delite  Axeman  Espinoza V    5/2 124

Last year’s 3yo Filly champion sold for a kings ransom back in June and failed in her first try for the new connections.  She was fifth in the DEL Hcp (GI) and tired in the late stages of that one.  She comes back to a distance where she’s made a ton of cash and should bounce back from that last out debacle.

6
 A Class Angie  Night Rider Stables  Velazquez J R    9/5 124

Won the DEL Hcp (GI) last out and that was her second GI score of the year.  She missed by a head in between those two wins (again v. GI company) so you have to know that she is as fit as a fiddle right now.  Giver her a big chance to get the job done and do not buy ex/tri tickets without her on it.

7
Devil Wears Prada  Maverick Racing  Castellano J J     7/1 124

Closed late to get some minor money in the DEL Hcp (GI) and was third in the Vanity (GI) prior to that one.  She sold for a ham sandwich back in April (I’m still shaking my head) and obviously is a much better horse than that silly transaction.  Look for her to be a contender here today.

8
Lullaby Maker Tf  Team 7 Illusions  Moran D     12/1 119

Back-to-back wins for the new connections and that makes three in a row for this filly.  Nice win north of the boarder in a slop filled ONT Matron (GIII) at WO.  She’s made quite a bit of money here in NY, but that was facing state-bred horses and it’s obviously going to be tougher than that here today.

9
 Chili King  Sanny Village  Albarado R J    2/1 124

The black mare is still as tough as ever – showing a pair of wins and head-beaten second in her three ’15 starts.  She just missed in the Vanity (GI) after setting the pace in that one, and she may need her speed to overcome the post position here today. But she’s a good one!!
