Jamfest took the lead down the back stretch going two lengths clear of the field on the home turn only to be caught on the wire by the running on Desolation Island for a dead heat with Spotted Cat a further length back in third.

Desolation Island and Jamfest dead heated for first place to share The Makers Mark Mile, Desolation Island settled close up early ran on strongly from two lengths off the pace getting up on the wire for a share of the spoils with Jamfest who was close up early then took up the lead in the back stretch going two lengths clear on the home turn only to be caught on the wire for a share of first place with Spotted Cat a further length back in third. The winners are owned by Mb Stables (Desolation Island) and Jkk Racing Stables (Jamfest).

How they ran.

Desolation Island settled close up two lengths off the pace in the home stretch then ran on strongly getting up the wire to share the spoils for first place.

Jamfest started close up then took up the lead down the back stretch going two lengths clear on the home turn only to be caught on the wire for a dead heat.

Spotted Cat settled near the rear four lengths off the pace then ran on strongly to finish third.

Sir Tom started and raced in sixth ran on down the home stretch making up a couple of places to finish fourth.

Seven Years started in fifth then dropped back to seventh and ran on to finish fifth.

Tin Lizzie raced at the back of the field ran on in the home stretch passing beaten horses to finish sixth.

Silver Bullet broke off in front leading the field for the first four furlongs then just went backwards to finish seventh.

Bombastic Kathology started in second then just went backwards dropping back through the field to finish last of the eight runners.
