Polish Dogma had been on a hot-streak coming into Thursday’s Appalacian (GIII) on the beautiful, lush KEE Turf course here in Lexington… and that streak in still intact. Showing a bit of a different running style from her races of late, the finish was still the same, in front and taking home the win. The three year old filly now has four wins in a row and is a perfect three-for three this season. Tennessee Titan ran a big race to be second, three quarters of a length behind the winner, with Childe Of Nature taking the third spot.

Polish Dogma unhurried while saving ground, responded when asked, clear late, driving. Tennessee Titan contested the early pace, moved forward into the lane, could not hold off the winner in a game effort. Childe Of Nature unhurried and wide early, up to contest, weekend. Square And Cool broke in hand, well rated, passed tiring rivals. Pip Irish broke well while wide into the initial turn, contested the pace to the top of the lane, tired. Chilly Beach away quickly, crossed over to the rail into the first turn, set the pace, headed, folded. Pink Kitty reserved early between horses, outrun throughout. Bake The Donut away slowest of all, never involved.
Polish Dogma is a 3yo filly by Eastern Precedent – Nice Snow, by Christmas Snow, and she was bred in ONT by her owner, EasyMondy Stables. She now has five wins from nine starts and earnings of $119.330, this being her first graded stakes win. As mentioned, she remains undefeated on the year and certainly seems to have a big future in front of her.
