Delinquent Assembly tracked the pace throughout The Eatontown Stakes (GIII) on the MTH turf, Sunday, then moved up to take over when it counted… when they hand out checks.  The bay mare got home by a half length in a final time of 1:40 for the mile and a sixteenth stakes, on the firm NJ grass.  Angel Shark did all of the heavy lifting, setting the pace throughout, but couldn’t hold off the winner and settled for the place.  Party In The Brig was a length back in third with Brist Calm taking the minor money.

Delinquent Assembly is a 5yo bay mare by Hispaniola – Delinquent Note, by Short Sale, and she was bred by her owner, Nakamura Stables, in Fla.  This was her tenth win from twenty-six starts and she’s been on the board in 21 career races, earning $538.820 in the process.  Congrats to the connections.

Delinquent Assembly sat behind the leader, moved up 1/4 pole, drifted, edged clear, won driving.  Angle Shark sent from the gate, led to the top of the lane, headed, game to the wire.  Party In The Brig in hand off of the pace, 5p drive, best of rest.  Brits Calm rated, evenly.  Green Shadow reserved, swung widest for the drive, no threat.  Decima Divo rated, inside trip to no avail.
