The son of Marry Me Mandy ran the perfect race here in a loose stalk from the off he accelerated readily to win by just under a length. Brought along slowly after being bought for $22 the trainer seems to have got a handle on him now and one would expect him to take on the older’s in the longer turf routes where he could do well with the three year old allowance.

Don’t you just love the click and play racing at HRP. Last time out he came from a mile back to win a little race at TUP seemingly struggling to go the early pace and today with the click of a button or indeed a blip in the AI he becomes a front runner going clear at halfway only to get run down at the end. I guess his last two starts will have told the trainer all they need to know going forward and with his limited experience i would expect a little more improvement.

3rd      Brool        Two Hearts One Love      Gomez Os

Chased the front three but never really quickened when asked and just plodded on for third. Closing to win is very hard these days and maybe the trainer will be checking the lead box next time to try and repeat his strong sprinting win last year.

4th       Stimmy Shimmy       Choppy Inc.      McCarthy T

A better effort from his last two but not better enough to be a factor. Stalked the lead and looked to be going well but feel away tamely in the end. It may be back to the drawing board for the trainer who is struggling to get this one to realize his potential.
