–Fabulous from GDP Inc gets the narrow call on paper and now must transfer that thinking to the track on Saturday. Away for the best part of three years, she came back to the races in an optional claimer where she won and then ran second in back-to-back stakes races, beating some of the foes she will face Saturday. An interesting story that she can add to here. Go For Glory from Mb Stables is a four-year-old that has won five from thirteen starts. She has good tactical speed and had the lead on the top pick until late in their last meeting. Look for her to be on the engine throughout. Mightiness from Winning Link Stables draws the outside gate here, but with only seven entries she shouldn’t be too compromised. Look for her to show some gate speed and seek a position only a few lengths off the leader. Her best race makes her plenty dangerous. Gala Brand from DJC Racing Stables draws the rail and should get a comfortable tracking trip here. If she can get comfortable early she could grind her way to a decent placement.

Of The Rest;

El Grand Latte from Black N Gold Stable runs best as a late closer and that goes against the profile of what is likely to happen Saturday, as this race might be run at a snails pace. On her best day she fits, but she most likely will not be able to close much ground here.

Real Tactics, also from Mb Stables is a three year old apparently placed here for the experience. One glimmer of hope is for her to pop and not stop, but that doesn’t look possible given the fact that her more accomplished stablemate will most likely try to lead these on a merry chase. Interesting…

Be Royal, also from Mb Stables is another three year old, however her best races look to be from off the pace. Interesting placement as well, but for now I’ll pass.
