                        Three Year Olds Fillies

1st Line Drive, trained by Our Athletes

This filly ran an ultra impressive front running win today setting the pace all the way and won pretty easily by a margin of two lengths. This was her first win on a wet track but it probably helped she cut back in distance and dropped in class. She ran the distance in 1:13.42 and earned $90.000 for her win.

2nd Prima Dona, trained by D J C Racing Stables

Sitting in second the whole way she couldn’t close the gap on the winner but ran strong to stay in for a runner up finish. She handled the step up in class pretty well and there’s no doubt that the sloppy track helped her out also. She is still on the improve and might be becoming a good stakes level filly.

3rd Make No Mistake, trained by Mb Stables

All these runners stayed in place throughout the race. This filly was third the whole way around the track and finished third. She didn’t really make up any ground and was the same amount of lengths back pretty much the whole time. She got beat by three lengths and loved the sloppy track that much.

4th Dolphins Bay, trained by Jokerjoes

After slugging around towards the back at the start she never really picked it up and ended up finishing last beaten by eight lengths. It was a big ask of her to jump up from those starter allowance races into a graded stakes but at least she earned a little money since Flying Squirrel scratched out.

Summary

Like I said in the recap all of these fillies stayed where the ran throughout the race all the way around there. The winner Line Drive tan very big in a gate to wire win and just cruised to a big win. She ran a very good race and was the class of the field on the slop. Congratulations to all of the horses and owners.
