ELP Race #6 $100.000

3YO F  122 Lbs 5.5 Furlongs (T)

#1 Adare Manor (Robeth/J.R. Leparoux): A win and two places in six starts but one of the runner-up finishes came in the second of two turf tries.  Has to try to not get too far back; however, she does get the rail and should be able to save ground around the bend.

#2 Cleareyesfullhearts (Mo Mentum Farm/F. Geroux): A winner of one of her two turf races, and four of eight overall, lass appears to be equipped with enough speed to challenge early.  Bested N2X runners on the main track at LS in her last and should be a solid contender here.

#3 At The Double (Asgar/L. Saez): Three wins from thirteen starts, all on the main track, so she has an experience edge.  She is a LA-bred stake winner and has placed multiple times at that level.  Quality does not appear to be an issue; however, she’ll have to transfer that form to the lawn.

#4 Ideal Oranges (Nj Vets/D. Cohen): Maiden is still looking for the WC after eight starts.  Last loss was her turf debut, and she was soundly beaten by free-track runners.  Can’t blame anyone for taking their shot, but this appears a big ask.

#5 Calming Presence (Mb Stables/A. Beschizza): Only one for six in her career but the maiden-breaker came on the grass.  Has done a lot of routing, and she seems to be one that will need to navigate traffic with her style.  Look for her late, but she may have a lot to do.

#6 Amnesia (Mb Stables/F. Arrieta): Filly took a similar even down the hill at SA; however, her last two have been a tad uninspired.  Has the speed to clear the majority of these and could find herself in a great spot hitting the turn.  Has to prove the last two were bumps in the road, but she’s definitely capable.

Final Analysis: This isn’t a star-studded group; however, there’s some talent in here.  We’ll go 6-2-5 in the 3rd running of The Pea Patch at ELP.  Good luck everyone!
