These races rarely turn up a stakes type horse and this race is no exception meaning this is one of the few in the field that can at least boast a run in black type company. Claimed off the turf where he has won five from eleven he went to the MD Sprint in his first effort for the new owner on the dirt where he ran well for a long way before weakening. If he can get some cover he could well take advantage of his draw and take this race.

The winner of an optional claimer last time he is an honest sort who gets a chance at a level which he wouldn’t normally be competitive. Gets the draw and the jockey and looks to have at least a one in four chance of winning.

Traditionally three year olds are pretty much unbeatable at this time of the year so you have to make this one your favorite despite being beaten in a claimer last time.

4 Young Sniper Night Rider Stables Bridgmohan J V

Beat Bwana G in that claimer last time but is a pound worse off for a neck and gets the wider draw which may be enough to see that form reversed.

SUMMARY

Bwana G could well win just because of the weight difference, Young Sniper will go close but then so will the other two. With heads and noses between them i will go 3,2,4,1
