It was a tight finish all the way around in the Wonder Where Stakes on Sunday, but Smokey Stover was able to take home the win as Kiwi Sunshine, the post time favorite, split horses at the three-sixteenths pole, closed relentlessly and nosed out Big Fajita, who had the lead late in this one. It was another length back to Fancifully in third and Scent Of A Filly took the minor money. Five lengths covered the field in a race where the winner covered the mile and a quarter in 1:59.27 on the firm WO turf course.
