1st   Huzza                            Blushing Meadows  Rosario J

Well, I said in my write off this filly may be the next Zenyatta and sure enough she once again grew wings from a position well back from the gate to fly home and grab this race right on the line. She is a very exciting filly and has now won three in a row for her trainer who thought right from the womb that she was a winner. Bought for $150.000 before she even raced Blushing Meadows is getting that back with interest now and though it will be tough with her racing style in a full BC field there is no doubt she will be among the favorites.

2nd   Made It Through     Mb Stables  Bravo J
This filly had definitely improved since her third in the Lynbrook but once again she got done by the winners flying finish although this time it took every yard for Huzza to get past her. If she improves again then who knows how good she could be.

3rd   Jessica Jones               Treaux Farms  Leparoux J R
The rains brought this one right into this race and if anything she finished better than the winner flying home for third beaten just a half length. With a wet BC keep an eye out for this one.

4th   Kaikoura               Smokey Stover  Baze T C
Went up on the speed as usual but paid the price in the mud and floundered late on. Not a bad effort but i expect her to be better on a dry track.
