Three Year Olds Fillies

1st Lorraine, trained by Mo Mentum Farm

A big time win for this filly as this was her first grade one win in her career. She took this field wire to wire in here never letting anyone else have the lead the whole race. She ran the distance in a time of 1:45.73 and she earned $300.000 for the win.

2nd Proud Eights, trained by Estero Farms

A good runner up finish from this filly as she had a tough post to overcome but she got a very good trip from that post and ran a good second. She sat right behind the leader most of the way but just couldn’t run her down in the lane. She fought on and held on for a good second though.

3rd Bagina, trained by Chili King Stables

Also a very good run from this filly to get third in here. She sat only two lengths off the lead early on in the race and she was in a good spot but she just could not run down the winner. She kept fighting the whole down the lane though and barely got nosed out for second.

4th Chais Princess, trained by Maxmillion Farm

Not a bad fourth from this filly either as she kind of faded late but she still ran well. She was tucked in right behind the leader early on and she was in a good spot but when they turned for home she couldn’t go with the top three. Still a good fourth though.

Summary

Pace made the race in here as the winner took this field wire to wire and all in the top four were somewhere in the top four the whole race. Lorraine ran a huge race though and got her first grade one win in here. Congratulations to Lorraine and Mo Mentum Farm.
