GP 2    The Sweetest Chant (GIII)

             $100.000               3yoF                 1m  Inner Turf

Martyparty’s Too Scared To Party knows how to throw a party!  Making it three in a row, the black filly sat back early to watch the pace burn then moved up to blow by everyone in the lane for an easy three length victory in The Sweetest Chant (GIII) to make her first black type win a graded one.  Longshot (17/1) Sheza Kat was second and Here Z Comes rounded out the trifecta.

Away from the gate and Techno Slayer was showing speed from the outside, Here Z Comes right next to her, then drop over to the rail for Hollywood Greek, Slipdamaloo next to that one, then Too Scared To Party, Carlitos El Mono, Leave It To Me and Sheza Kat was the early trailer.

Around the clubhouse turn and on to the backside, five furlongs to run ad Here Z Comes was in front by a length and a half, Techno Slayer continuing to show early pace while three wide, Hollywood Greek continuing to hug her inside position.  Too Scared To Party was four lengths off of that one, Slipdamaloo next to her, Leave It To Me another length and a half back, Carlitos El Mono saving ground and Sheza Kat could see them all.

Down the backside and moving into the far turn, not much had changed as Here Z Comes continued to show the way by nearly two lengths.  Techno Slayer tracking her with Hollywood Greek in tow.  Another length and a half back to Too Scared To Party, improving position, Slipdamaloo came next, Sheeza Kat and Carlitos El Mono continued to trail the field.

Into the lane and moving past the furlong pole, Too Scared To Party moved up to look Here Z Comes in the eye and moved past that one, Techno Slayer tryimg to find more between that pair, Hollywood Greek still with an inside position, Slipdamaloo feeling the whip, Carlitos El Mono trying to find a late gear and Leave It To Me now shuffled back to the rear.

Inside the final 150-yards and to the finish, this was all about Too Scared To Party as she rolled to a three length victory.  Sheza Kat closed well to grab the second spot just a neck in front of Here Z Comes, then Techno Slayer in fourth.  Slipdamaloo was fifth, Hollywood Greek tiring to sixth, Carlitos El Mono in seventh and Leave It To Me rounded
this one out.

Too Scared To Party is a black 3yo filly by Pinnacle West – Scaredy Cat, by Brave Decision and she was bred by her owner in WV.  Now showing three wins from four starts, all three in a row, the Martyparty trained filly looks to build on her $149.530 lifetime earning and seems a horse that will certainly do that.

Too Scared To Party sat unhurried behind the early pace, moved up when asked, moved to the lead without being pushed and won without being asked.  Sheza Kat was void of early speed, closed well and grabbed the place without threat to the winner.  Here Z Comes showed good early speed set the pace, overtaken, nothing left for the drive.  Techno Slayer broke fastest of all, chased the leader, tired through the lane. Slipdamaloo raced evenly without threat.  Hollywood Greek saved ground in good
position, never fired.  Carlitos El Mono was outrun.  Leave It To Me was never involved.
