1st    Tormented    Mb Stables     Hernandez C J

For all the fuss we make about how important an good draw is this ones two wins this season have both come from the car park. Today he proved how once again the champion trainer has a scary ability in this game not only with himself making all in a fast pace and winning this race but also in being followed home by both of his stable companions. He has raced this trip twice now and won both but has also run with some success on both surfaces and over both sprint and route trips.
Can we now assume he s a turf sprinter? well this was certainly his biggest success so i suspect he may follow this path.

2nd    Shakespearean    Mb Stables    Velazquez J R

He chased hard all the way to the line but could not peg back the stagger and had to settle for second. This was a great effort in his first stakes race and i suspect he has a decent future.

3rd    Leas Chance     Mb Stables    Gutierrez Mario

The one that created the perfect result for the stable by chasing his stable mate and holding third when his other stable mate bettered him close home. All three were working the times so in some ways this wasn’t an unexpected outcome but in a game where consistency is so hard to come by to fill the first three places in a race like this is an astonishing achievement.

4th    Insist On Perfection    Maxmillion Farm    Saez G

Every other stable made a loss in this race but this one made the least loss by filling fourth spot. Close enough he tried hard to separate the Mb runners but in the end just couldn’t do it. Only beaten a length he has run three very solid races since being bought and must soon break through.
