Mb Stables Wins Third Consecutive KD Ladies Sprint, This Time with Data Overload

2    KD       KD Ladies Sprint (GIII)

$600.000    3yo&Up F&M     6 1/2f Turf     3yo 119lbs  Older 122lbs

Mb Stables may have sent two-time winner Four Left Feet off to the breeding shed, but that didn’t stop the big barn from winning this race for a third time as Data Overload swept up on the dog-leg, opened a comfortable lead and cruised home by two lengths, taking the KD Ladies Sprint (GIII) and pocketing another big payday.  The gray filly obliterated the previous stakes record, getting home in 1:13.93.  Sister Dearest closed well to grab the second spot, a neck better than Bohemian Bourbon in third with the same gap back to Fire Tech in fourth.

Data Overload is a 4yo gray filly by Worst Case Scenario – Regal Portrait, by Inspector Jacques, and she was bred in FLA by her owner, Mb Stables.  This was her sixth win from nineteen starts, two of those coming this season, and she now has lifetime earnings of $825.070.  This filly seems to be running her best at just the right moment, as we head to DMR for the BC races, and this barn is ALWAYS loaded.  Congrats to the connections!

Data Overload mid-pack to the turn, began to accelerate through the turn to open a clear lead into the lane, held sway, won as much the best, setting a new stakes record for the distance.  Sister Dearest rated back off of the pace, moved forward into the lane, no match for the winner, held off all others.  Bohemian Bourbon pressed the pace throughout, could not go on with winner, no excuse.  Fire Tech lacked early speed, best foot too late.  Ruby Jaws raced evenly throughout.  Stellar Agent forced the pace, folded in the lane.  Shes From Kingston flashed early speed, tired.  Peppermint Crush was not a factor.  Thats Your Opinion set the pace to the turn, stopped.  Gummy gave a dull effort.  Z Laffy One showed little.  Eskimo Kisses lagged.
