Missy Goes Back on the BC trail

Canadian Stakes – Grade II
1 1/8 Mile Turf Stake Purse $250.000 Filly & Mare 3 Year Olds And Up.

1st Mo Ki Missy, trained by Spankys Barn
A dual grade one winner last year she proved once again that she is a real Autumn horse with a gutsy win against her three year old rivals. This win all came down to heart as she dug deep to hold on by a nose and may be able to squeeze into the BC again where she finished a close up 6th last year.

2nd Commanding Faith, trained by Crocker Cgs
A real nice filly she just seems to lack that final lunge which is the difference between winning and losing. Consistent and tough i thought she would win today but she came up against a filly with plenty of heart and thats what beat her in the end.

3rd Isolated, trained by Mb Stables
Made the running and kept on pretty well for third this was a good effort by a filly that hadnt seen this level before.

4th Shoot The Moon, trained by TwinTowersRacing
With her carer best run coming on soft ground it looks like she will need that surface again to pick up a race like this.
