The Ladies Are Left Red-Faced as Kiss The Snake Comes Home in a Dash

The DeFrancis Memorial Dash – Grade III
6 Furlongs Dirt Stake Purse $250.000 Open 3 Year Olds And Up.

1st Kiss The Snake, trained by Luz International
The big clue for this one was the 57 and 3 work he put down on the 1st September signalling improvement and thus throwing out any previous form. Not that his previous form was bad it just wasnt world beating. Settling back off a very strong pace he picked them up readily and pulled a length clear in the end for a fairly clear cut victory.

2nd Glorious, trained by Spankys Barn
A grade one winner last time out he showed that there is little difference in the grades as he struggled to compete with the winner. In a loose stalk he looked to be going well but the fast pace opened the race up to a closer and it was just a matter as to which one.

3rd Copper Conduit, trained by Threshold
Catapulted into the lead by the wide gate speed push he set suicidal splits but still managed to hold on for third.

4th The Rook, trained by D J C Racing Stable
Tracked glorious but just whacked away at the one pace in the end.

SUMMARY
A three year old one two i have a feeling the trainers will be trying to get as many races under their belts before their allowance disappears in December.
