My Tomorrows Wins Fast Sexton Mile

Sexton Mile – GIII
$400.000 – For Three Year Olds And Upward
1 Mile – Dirt
Lone Star Park – May 25, 2026

A half dozen intrepid thoroughbred warriors entered the starting gate at Lone Star Park for a Texas sized purse of $400.000. At the end of eight furlongs on a fast track, it was the five-year-old Maxmillion Farm gelding My Tomorrows who emerged the victor and had his picture taken in the winner’s circle.

Winner: My Tomorrows (Maxmillion Farm/R.A. Vasquez) Moment In Time/Sit Down Shut Up (Grande Sournoise) Sat a couple of lengths off of the pace early content to let stablemate Propel and betting favorite Star Vault battle on the front end. Began to advance with a half mile to go and was length behind Star Vault at the top of the stretch. Collared the leader with a sixteenth of a mile to the wire and drew off nicely for a convincing win.

Second: Star Vault (Mb Stables/D.E. Centeno) Sinissippi Star/The Cooper Vault (Copper Beast) Had to contend with the Maxmillion stablemates early and late. Hooked up with Propel in the early going and when he put that one away he had to deal with the late running My Tomorrows. Tried to the wire but was second best on the day.

Third: Sky Rider (Nakamura Stables/I. Castillo) Black Death/Credit The Sky (Aggravated Sky) Was in the stalking catbird seat through the first half of the race. Could not keep pace with the winner when that one moved but advanced steadily to pass early leader Propel and gain third.

Fourth: Propel (Maxmillion Farm/L.R. Rivera) I Want More/Family Tree (Copper Bottom) Broke on top and showed good early speed to battle with the favorite when that one joined him in front. Began to give way after a half mile but persevered through the lane to gain the final check.

Preview Pick: Star Vault – Second best.

The Sexton Mile marks the first graded stakes win for My Tomorrows who is a five year old gelding bred by Wood Duck Stables. Maximilian Farm acquired My Tomorrows for $100.000 via private purchase a year ago. Maximilian Farm has now won the Sexton Mile three times having won the race with Fahrenheit in 2019 and Gran Z in 2022. It was the first Sexton win for jockey R.A. Vasquez. My Tomorrows has now bankrolled $828.98 in twenty-three career starts and twelve wins. The winning time of 1:33.87 was the second fastest Sexton Mile in twenty-three runnings of the race only behind the stakes record of 1:33.66 set by Fuji Stable’s Dark Crown way back in 2007. It was the third fastest mile so far in 2026.
