1st    King Que Niagra      D J C Racing Stables       Gutierrez Mario

It was pretty much nailed on that if the best of this horse turned up nothing would get close to him and once they cleared the gate and this one found a comfortable stalk the writing was on the wall. Eventually sauntering two lengths clear at the post this was a win from a horse that was a class above.

2nd    Top Of The Crop        Maxmillion Farm        Cedillo A

I don’t think many though this one would chase the winner home but he found the outside speed push to go to the lead and after that he was pretty much guaranteed to get in the top three. He found nothing when challenged by the winner but had enough to hold onto second and at last justified his trainers decision to keep trying turf.

3rd   By The Night O Bay    Oval Express Farms     Desormeaux K J

Whacked away for third but didn’t really pose a danger to the firs two.

4th   Buffalo G         Nakamura Stables         Gonzalez Ru

After making all for a comfortable win last time and from a stable that likes their horses on pace i was surprised to see this one a little way back for the entirety of the race. Whether it was by design or he lost the start lottery we wont know but he was a little ordinary in the end.
