   2    AQU   NY Stallion Stakes – Bid

To Gotham City and a group of sophomore sod sprinters set to go six panels in the happily never-ending NY Stallion Stakes series, and we have a larger field here than the RL version of this race… always a good thing.  I’m going to the rail for the top pick and Pretty Boy Floyd is my top selection.  I know, he hasn’t won this year, but a second in the Murphy on PRK weekend after sniffing the TC Trail, I think the class edge goes in his favor.  He shows two wins and two runner efforts on the weeds, so… he gets the nod.  Foxy Zion didn’t lift a hoof in the Palisades, but I’m writing that off to the wet going, and would throw him out again, if it does turn up wet… just not his gig.  But he broke maiden on the SAR lawn, then won a N1X over the Spa sod, so I do think he has some real ability and it’s the second start for the new barn.  There’re no other stakes tested horses in this one, so we will ride this duo to the window.
